August 24, 2025: It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Brother, Joseph J. Viscusi. Joseph was a devoted member of Crawford Lodge #234 and the Erie Scottish Rite Consistory. Our heartfelt sympathy and condolences are extended to his family. A Masonic Funeral Service will be held on Friday August 29, 2025, at 12:45PM at the Mizner Funeral Home, Meadville.

Joseph J. Viscusi, 78, of Meadville, passed away Sunday, August 24, 2025, at Meadville Medical Center.

Joseph was born in New York City, NY, on November 22, 1946, a son of the late Dominic S. and Mary Rose (Longo) Viscusi.

Joe had been employed as a millwright for over 50 years working primarily in western PA and most recently working out of Union Hall #2275 in Richmond, VA. Joe was a 1964 graduate of Meadville High School and went on to serve his country as a veteran of the US Army, being honorably discharged as a Sgt. E 5. He was a member of Masonic Lodge #234, the Blue Lodge and the Scottish Right Consistory, Erie. He will be sadly missed by those who knew and loved him.

Visitation will be held from 12:30-1:30 PM on Friday, August 29, 2025, at STEPHEN P. MIZNER FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION SERVICES, INC. 404 CHESTNUT STREET, MEADVILLE, where a Masonic Service will take place at 12:45 PM.

A Mass of Resurrection will follow at 2 PM at St. Mary of Grace Church, 1085 Water St. Meadville, with Fr. Kyle Seyler, Parochial Vicar, officiating. Full Military Honors by VFW Post #2006 will follow.

Joe will be entombed in St. Brigid Cemetery.
